Cycle B: Autumn 1 - 'What makes me special?'

We listened to various stories including 'What I like about me', 'My body' (a non fiction book), 'My funny family' and 'Children around the world'. We discussed the different senses we have and how they are used. We discussed that everyone is different in someway but we are all special. We brought photos in of our families and made an EYFS family tree. We labelled parts of our body and looked at how things have changed from the past to the present which linked to the book 'Peepo'. 

We also learnt about the artist Piet Mondrian and created a wonderful display.
