Cycle A: Autumn 1 - 'Houses and Homes'

We listened to various stories including 'This is Our House', 'The Three Little Pigs', 'Let’s Build a House' and 'All Kinds of Homes'. We discussed some of the different homes in our country and in other countries. We created houses using different materials and also learnt about household items from the Victorian times compared to what we use in the present day. In our PE sessions, we focussed on fundamental movement skills aswell as making movements linked to the texts. We have also looked at some styles of music along with playing loud and quiet sounds. 

AUTUMN - We are beginning to learn about seasons and our focus this term was 'Autumn'. We investigated and explored autumnal themed objects and participated in activities linked to the book 'Leaf man.'
