Cycle A: Spring 1 - 'People who help us'

This term, we were learning about people who help us in the community. We started by looking at what a postal worker does and we wrote thank you letters and then had a walk to the nearest post box to send them. We also visited the fire station near school, had a visit from a nurse and got to go in the police car and van. We learnt about the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the role of a coast guard. 

CELEBRATIONS - This term, we also celebrated Lunar New Year. We explored artefacts, listened and acted out the Chinese Zodiac story, made decorations and tried various foods.
