Social Inclusion Officers/PSAs

Hello, my name is Julie McNeany and I am an Inclusion/Family Support Officer at St. Helen's Primary School.

I have worked with children and young people for over 20 years in various areas and roles. I’m very passionate about the work I do and believe everyone deserves to reach their full potential in life.

My role is to support pupils, parents and families. I work directly with parents in a non-judgmental way- empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available. I find my role is very rewarding and I believe having positive relationships with our families is paramount. I feel I am very approachable and an extremely supportive person in all situations. I am also able to signpost parents and carers to other services, if and when needed.

I care about every child that attends St. Helen's Primary School and I am very proud to work in such a supportive and nurturing environment, where all staff are heading towards the same goal.

Together we make a difference.

Hello, my name is Aimee Small and I am an Inclusion, and Family Support Assistant. I have recently been appointed at St Helen’s Primary School and will work alongside Miss McNeany. I am extremely pleased to have been given this opportunity and I’m looking forward to getting to know all the children and their families at St Helen's.

I bring with me a wealth of knowledge around what children and young people need to thrive, and reach their full potential. I have over 20 years experience of working with children, young people, and their families holistically and feel passionate about working together- empowering the families I support. I am very familiar with the Hartlepool area and have a sound knowledge of what services are available within the area. I am confident in signposting to other services, when needed.

My role will involve supporting Miss McNeany, working directly with parents in a non-judgmental way. I believe my role will enable parents to feel supported, and get the most out of what St Helen's school has to offer. So, together we can make a difference.
